10,000 Islands Kayaking Expedition - $260.00

The Ten Thousand Islands National Wildlife Refuge is one of the wildest areas in Florida. The mangrove islands scattered off the Gulf coast in Southwest Florida are filled with fish, dolphins, birds, and other wildlife. Join outdoor recreation as we paddle in sea kayaks from island to island. After paddling a portion of each day, we will camp on sandy keys that feel like your own private island.

Kayaking is a challenging adventure so come prepared to push yourself. You are strongly encouraged to go on Outdoor Rec paddling trips or personal trips prior to departure for preparation. Transportation, fees, group gear (tents, stoves, water jugs, etc), and all food except when we are traveling in the van will be provided. You will be responsible for providing Personal Clothing, Toiletries, Bowl/Eating Utensil, Sleeping Bag, and Sleeping Pad. If you do not have your own gear you may rent these items from the Outdoor Rec Center. Expect to buy or bring food for while we are traveling in the van at least 1 breakfast/lunch on the way there and 1 lunch/dinner on the way back (we will be stopping at fast food/gas stations).
