Intro to Basic Caving - $100.00

Come explore the rooms of the cave with UGA Outdoor Recreation! We will be exploring Tumbling Rock in Scottsboro, Alabama. No experience necessary--get ready to get muddy!

Transportation, fees, group gear (tents, stoves, water jugs, etc), and all food except when we are traveling in the van will be provided. You will be responsible for providing Personal Clothing, Toiletries, Bowl/Eating Utensil, Sleeping Bag, and Sleeping Pad. If you do not have your own gear you may rent these items from the Outdoor Rec Center.

Departs from Ramsey Student Center at 9 a.m. Saturday, returns 5 p.m. Sunday (times are approximate) MANDATORY pre-trip meeting Monday, September 23rd 6-8 p.m in Ramsey Room 213.

COST:
$80: currently registered UGA students
$90: UGA Faculty/Staff who are current Ramsey members
$100:UGA Affiliates
SIGN-UP DEADLINE:
Friday, September 20th at 12 p.m.
Sign up online or in-person at the Recreational Sports Main Office, 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., Monday-Friday. Clinics and trips fill on a first-come, first-served basis and waiting lists will be kept. There is an 8-person limit to this trip.

Your trip leaders will cover suggested food items in a pre-trip email or during your pre-trip meeting.
